Lansdale man’s novel idea turns into three-year book project

LANSDALE – The idea to write a book came to Tom Allebach when he saw an 8-year-old girl riding her bike on Lansdale Avenue three summers ago.
The girl‚ he said‚ looked to be the kind who “could have an adventure.” He dreamed up one in which she is thrust into the ninth-century Middle East to rescue her kidnapped mother‚ and he called her Britt.
