PublishAmerica Presents Alone in Space by Dottie Mahaffey

Frederick, MD May 11, 2006 --
PublishAmerica is proud to present Alone in Space: Destination Unknown by Tulsa, Oklahoma author Dottie Mahaffey. The debut book by Mahaffey is the story of Linda, who sneaks onboard a large spaceship while secretly visiting a spaceport. While Linda is exploring the ship, it suddenly takes off. She has no idea where she is going or how long it will take to get there. Meanwhile back on Earth, her parents begin their frantic search for their missing child.

Dottie Mahaffey grew up in Bardstown, Kentucky. She is the second oldest of four sisters and four brothers. After graduating from Bethlehem High School, she moved to Louisville to attend Sullivan Business College. After marrying her husband Paul, she moved to Oklahoma.

PublishAmerica is the home of 20,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
