HAS FOUND 'MIRACLES' OF HER OWN IN LIFE

Carrollton resident Vita Ann Bernhardt, written under the pen name of Connie Ann Rhineheart, labored two and a half years on her book "Miracles" and when she was finished in 2001 she knew the work represented its own particular miracle for her. The book - her first - was a writing journey that taught her volumes about herself and brought a greater maturity. "I was a child when I wrote the book," she said.
Bernhardt, a 59-year-old animal photographer, said the book helped free her from a nightmarish past, which included being raped by her father, and gave her a new life "with Jesus in control.."
