Lightning and a Bouquet of Roses
Askin Ozcan
“Poetry is like an aperitif before a meal. Like any other art form, poetry, too, can not be and should not be described, but must be experienced in itself. Life, love, our sufferings, ambitions and universe inspire the poetry and the poetry should inspire those as well….”

This is Askin Ozcan’s philosophy on poetry. Lightning and a Bouquet of Roses is a selection of poems from the collection Askin Ozcan has written in a time span of some thirty years during his life in many countries.

What Comes Around
Chad Williamson
You know what the problem is with this book? The people who’d enjoy reading it the most don’t even read books. I understand though; I was also a nonreader for most of my life. I tried several times to get into books when I was younger but they just didn’t hook me fast enough to keep me interested. The only books I had any luck with were the ones with Garfield, Snoopy or Ziggy in them. That’s why I made this book without any boring stuff in the beginning, it’s straight into the sleaze. I also kept every other page in this book blank; it’s easier to read that way and you’ll be flipping pages twice as fast. So if reading normally frustrates you because you keep reading the same paragraph over and over again, you might have better luck with this book. Who knows, you might even finish it.
