The writing is good and the story seems to flow well. Intricately plotted novel.

The basic premise here works. I think you have a great idea here.

Nicely Done!

Nicly done story, it will be something grand.

Great Work!
J Kazimer

Good use of tone. I get the distintc voice of the south. I picture the type of woman Emily is by tone, which is rare to achieve. Good Job.

Beautiful Stuff
Dr. Z

Some really tender moments. Beautiful stuff. Very interesting exploration of the child-parent bond. Believable and well handled. The ubiquitous dysfunctionality of the family, the faithful vernacular and care for characters is obvious

Nice work.

I fell upon this by mistake and didn’t realize til i was in that infact I had missed the first 10 chapters, but from the opening line i was drawn in. Im left to wonder if this is a current day story or historical. (though I’m certain I will find out when i start at the beginning) But I still felt compelled to write on this chapter anyway, as it’s well written it has a smooth finish that makes reading easy. You could say I “fell” into it. I can’t say the subject matter jumped out at me with the same heartfelt impression that is probably intended, though, but since, i’ve not been in the story from it conception that makes sense. It’s definitely well done and definitely makes me want to read on. and thus I will go back and read the previous chapters. Just thought i’d share.

Very Touching

Very touching story. And at the same time it is a really sad one as well. Very good descriptions of a family that is split on the desicion of what to do about the mentally ill mother. This story touched me especially since i can relate to the conflict from past experiences. Very nice writing and keep it up!
