I love the simple, heartfelt ways that the author interacts and teaches his children at the same time. We are reminded as parents that our children crave attention, and giving it to them lovingly is not only so very easy to do, but prompts stimulating exchanges and necessary growth. I was touched and could relate on many levels!

I expected instructions on child centered activities. What I read was evocative, sensitive and a real life taste of child rearing. I loved the way the author blended the joy and misery of parenting with practical stuff one can do to participate, teach and play. The author touched me and reminded me what I love about parenting. Encore!
