On February 6th, Jack Halstead appeared at the
Writing Center, Marymount Manhattan College in New York
City to discuss his novel "CrackDown!."
In a dynamic exchange of ideas and concepts, Halstead
reviewed the sociological sources and development of
the novel. This was along with a review and overview
the novel's disturbing implications. A signing followed
the exchange.

Eighty-four year old author Lila B. Mullins will

Kevin P. Grover, author of the critically-acclaimed
novels "Strike Hard" and its sequel
"Strike Swiftly", has finished in second

Stephanie Sawyer was once plagued by epileptic seizures.
They came with no warning, and left her devastated.
After a life-altering surgery, and a soul-searching
book, Ms. Sawyer's life has turned around. Her autobiographical
novel, "Facing Me" so effectively captured
her miraculous turn-around, that she recently was featured
in a Feature Story by Channel 13 in Houston, TX. She
abandoned all hopes of performing music on her beloved
piano, for fear of a seizure mid-performance. However,
since the surgery, she's learned to face her fears.
