Interview
With Book Review Cafe
Lisa,
Managing Editor, Book Review Cafe, will be posting her
interview with Publish America author, Evelyn Horan,
the week of February l8,2002. The historical fiction
book for children/young adults, taking place on the
West Texas frontier of the l880's titled, Jeannie,
A Texas Frontier Girl, Book One, will be featured
along with biographical infomation and questions concerning
the motivation and the writing of the book. Reviewers
are calling Evelyn Horan "The Modern Day Laura
Ingalls Wilder of the Little House books," an honor
for which the author is most grateful and appreciative.

Cocktail
Reception
in New York City
In
order to introduce one of our authors to the media moguls
in New York City, a cocktail reception for Billy
P. Smith, author of Abuse of Process was
hosted recently by Worth Media and Mr. and Mrs. Randall
Jones, editor of Worth Magazine. Most of those in attendance
were influential media people, that included several
movie stars, including Lorenzo Lamas, who may be interested
in playing one of the characters in Smith's book. As
a result, Billy Smith was interviewed by a television
station, and he has noticed his book's activity on BarnesandNoble.com. Click

asked R.G. Condie, author of Say Goodbye to
Guilt to talk about to their literary luncheon March
1, 2002. Mr. Condie will be talking about the book,
why and how it was written, and answering questions.

Jim
has just finished a west coast tour of LA/Orange county
speaking about his book to the media. He reports that
he has recently been appointed Research Specialist for
Media Operations for MUFON (the mutual UFO network).
Jim was recently filmed by the "In search of"
TV crew where his book was prominently displayed. He
has been asked to stay on as a technical advisor. And
lastly, Jim has also been taped for several local public
access channels.
