Radio Interview Scheduled
Sherry Gibson, author of Only a Game has
been selected by Authrosden to do a live radio interview
on their new radio show.
Wake
Up USA Show Co-Host
Jim Hickman, author of 5000 Years of UFO's
- Are We Really Alone has appeared several times
on Wake Up USA show with Adam Clark, on the Stardust
Radio Network. Jim has been approached with a proposal
for him to be the co-host of the show. Jim accepted
the job and will be starting broadcasting 2 hours live
every Wednesday night from 8 to 10 PM, starting in the
next few weeks.

Too Tight News
TJ Perkins will be joining in a 'Meet The Author'
at Barnes & Noble The Avenue in White Marsh, MD,
on Sept 21st from 1:00 to 3:00 for a signing of her
book "Wound Too Tight." On Sept 28th
she will be the focal point at Honda Acres in Littletown,
PA from 11:00 to 3:00. There will be refreshments and
a Meet-n-Greet during the signing of "Wound Too
Tight." Covering all the excitement will be the
Hanover Evening Sun and WHTM Channel 27. The Chartley
Chatter will have a special article covering TJ Perkins'
book "Wound Too Tight" and her newest release
"Mystery of the Attic," which will be out
Nov 1 published by the Carroll County Children's Fund.

A Million Book Signing
Nile Limbaugh, author of 20/20 Vision,
has a book signing at Books A Million in Albany, Georgia
on September 21, 2002 from 12 Noon to 4 p.m.
Book
Signings and Promotions
Mike Alger, author of Snow Storm was interviewed
for over an hour on KBUL radio's morning show, and he
is scheduled to appear on Rusty Humphries' radio talk
show (nationally syndicated talk show host). Mike will
appear at the Great Basin Book Fair to do a one on one
with NYT Bestseller Dale Brown, and he has three additional
book signings scheduled in the next month alone. Barnes
and Noble's and Borders are both stocking Snow Storm,
along with several local independent book stores. And
Gamma Films is planning on beginning production on the
movie adaptation of Snow Storm next spring.
West Texas Author
and Book Festival
Jarlon Magee, author of A Woman Like That
will attend and host a booth at the West Texas Author
and Book Festival in Abilene, Tx. 100 Texas-based authors
will be there, including David Lindsey (A COLD MIND,
etc, a well-known crime novelist).

Engagements and Book Signings
Annette DeLore, author of Prisoner Of The
Heart is staying busy between her radio and newspaper
interviews and several book signings, Mrs. DeLore is
volunteering her time visiting several High Schools
in Michigan and talking to students about the art of
writing. Mrs. DeLore says, "Our future Authors
and News Reporters are sitting in High School classes
now. My hope is to inspire them to seek out their talents."

1 to 3 p.m. This signing will take place at Added Touch,
a specialty store on Main Street.
Baltimore
Book Festival
Author Brian A. Hartford has been selected to
participate in the Baltimore Book Festival by the Baltimore
office of promotion of the arts. He will be available
for the public to purchase and for him to sign his two
published works, Change of Heart (co-author Peggy
McCardle) and Echo! Five! Hotel!, (with Peggy
McCardle) along with other authors. The festival starts
on Friday, September 27th. At 5pm. And will continue
through Sunday, from 11am to 7pm. Both days. For further

Speaking
Engagements and Book Signings
Mary Ann Kerl, author of The Proposal
and Janessa's Clues to the Cabin Mystery has
speaking engagements coming up. One will be held at
the McAlester Public Library in McAlester, OK, on September
12th at 12:00 noon where both books, will be available
for purchase from the author. Her talk will center on
"rejection and not giving up." The second
speaking engagement will be held in Tulsa at 6:30 p.m.
on October 5th where her books will be for sale also.
This is being sponsored by the Tulsa NightWriters, a
writer's group in Tulsa, OK. Her talk will be on "How
to Get Five Ideas for Your Young Adult Book." Mary
Ann has a confirmed book signing set for October 5 at
the Mardel's bookstore (a Christian bookstore) in Tulsa,
OK from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (may go until 2:00
p.m.).

Annette DeLore, Author of Prisoner of the Heart
has been interviewed on three Radio Stations in West
Michigan. On Thursday August 29 Annette appeared as
a guest and was interviewed at 9:00 am on WMTE 101.5
FM in Manistee. Also on Thursday August 29, Annette
had another guest appearance at 9:30 am on WMTE 1340
AM, a Manistee radio station. Friday
August 30, at 9:15 am Annette was a guest on WKLA 1450
AM, which is located in Ludington.

TCF (The Compassionate Friends) Conference
Diane Wattles, author of Today I Smile
has been invited to lead a workshop at the National
TCF (The Compassionate Friends) Conference in Atlanta,
Georgia, from July 3-6, 2003. The Compassionate Friends
organization provides support to those parents who have
lost children. The topic of her workshop will be "All
About Mandy." Her book, Today I Smile, will provide
the background for this workshop.

in GA School Curriculum
Singing Violet, by A. Fran Booth, is currently
being used by two school systems in Georgia as a supplement
to their texts when teaching history of the southeastern
states to elementary and middle school students. It
is being considered by three others.

9 Interview
One of the three major network affiliates out of the
Chattanooga, Tennessee area, NewsChannel 9, interviewed
Marlon R. Vines on "Good Morning Chattanooga".
R.E. Digges, Jr. and Mr. Vines are co-authors of the
fictional novel "Glasdale: Hell's Gate".
The interview was conducted by Chattanooga's foremost
TV personality Don Welch, who allowed Mr. Vines the
opportunity to promote the book.
