Landing on My Feet

This is an account of my life. It will take you through my struggles with drug and alcohol abuse to the day I sobered up, September 11, 1990. It will take you beyond to my struggles with Hepatitis-C. Hepatitis was something I contracted while abusing intravenous drugs. I received treatments twice over the years but to no avail; the virus destroyed my liver and I received a liver transplant. In 2008 the Hepatitis began damaging the new liver so my doctor placed me on treatments again. This virus won’t defeat me. I will prevail.
