Fading Age of Innocence
by Maria Teresa Espinoza
Fading Age of Innocence is a story about the struggles of a teenage girl whose life turns upside down when her mother unexpectedly dies in a police sting operation gone wrong. When her father is transferred to the southern Miami suburb of Somerton Beach, Vicky is uprooted from the small Texas town she had always known and transplanted into a world where dangers and unexpected surprises loom around every corner. There, Vicky Ortiz will find herself up against a new kind of opponent in a different kind of game, both on and off the court. A game in which the rules are seldom fair and where her strength of character will be tested to its limit.
