				| Many have posted what its like when they get their author copies of their book. Now I really know how it feels. Got them yesterday! To set back an look at the end product. Its a difinite "WOW." Publish America came through, and its on the B & N, Books a Million, Amazon.com sites. Even found it in on a site in Asia.
The only other thing that beats this excitment was the birth of my kids.
In a way writhing a book is like the process of birth, it takes about the same amount of time. Then you raise them to the best of your ability and hope everything turns out, in both cases it did.

Now the promotion can get into high gear.

Thanks all for the great ideas posted on the board.
Y'all are the vets of the the process!

May the sun shine on us all!!

				| Congratulations! I can imagine how exciting that must be. I haven't reached that point yet. I like your comparison to giving birth. I have a new grandbaby due in June, and hopefully my book will be out before then. Both are exciting events that I'm looking forward to. Best wishes to you with your new book! Connie

				| I think creating a book is a lot like having kids... we dream of it, nurture it, worry about it. After the delivery you nurse the book to success with publicity efforts.
Much of the early publication process of my book parallelled my pregnancy with my son. I sometimes call my book "my other baby." Now, I'm just awaiting the delivery... and this one wont be as painful!

 Congratulations on your New Arrival!
