Hello to all~
As a newly published poetess I am pleased to be a member of the PublishAmerica family~
My book hit the market at the end of January, and I already received that first, much anticipated, royalty check !
Looking forward to lining up my book signings and have already scheduled newspaper reviews and interviews~
It is a great day to be in such good company as the many fine writers here~
My book is a lifelong collection of my Native American Cherokee Indian poetry and is being enjoyed worldwide~
I write from the heart to share and after many years of keeping my writings in spiral notebooks .... then on the Internet ... it just was the time to blossom out and publish !!
The entire process from concept to reality was made easy by the highly professional team from PublishAmerica~
Each step was made easier by those in charge ... I guess that maybe the text formatting was the most 'trying' step ... simply because poetry is something that speaks it's own personal message and is something that (to me) must be presented in a most pleasing manner to the eye~
My text editor and I worked through a few problematic areas and I learned a lot~
Anyhow ... I'm out there ... the first week of release we made the Amazon Top 100 Hot New Releases Sellers list in the #24 spot ... so that sure was an unexpected delight to this poetess~
Looking forward to having a long association with PublishAmerica~
I will enjoy the public appearances and meeting new and fascinating people~
Glad to be aboard~

It is exciting isn't it?
I hope your book becomes a best seller.

As the grandmother of two precious granddaughters, I will be sure and let their parents (both school teachers) know about Dusty, your seagull~
Also hope you sell a gazillion ... I do intend to turn my hand on a children's story in the future~
Goodness knows I make up stories every week for these grandie girlies ... might as well write it and share it for all to see~
Good luck with your sales too~

Hi Marge and congratulations! Is it really as wonderful as people keep telling me it is? My book is in the final stages of errors being corrected and the cover being finished.
I'm having a real hard time getting excited about it just yet. I'm a very visual person and have to see something in front of me or actually hold it in my hands to believe it.
I wish you only the very best. Good luck!

Lisa~
I can promise you that it is all 'they' say it is and MORE !!!
When my actual complimentary copies came in the mail ... I stood for about 6 seconds before tearing into the package ... then ... believe it ... the tears welled up ... the grin couldn't keep them from flowing~
I, too, am a touchy-feely reality person .... oh believe me ... it's REALITY with all the personal pride and emotions showing when you actually hold that baby in your hands !!!
I sure want to hear back from you when yours gets to you !!!
